Lifeguard hours are Monday through Thursday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm. The lifeguards will be on duty starting June 18, 2011 and will end September 5, 2011.

Income verification for all income received by each occupant of your home which can be, but is not limited to, copies of last year’s tax return, social security, disability, pension, annuity or retirement benefit award statements. Bank statements are needed for July – December of the previous year.
If your home is a mobile or manufactured home, submit a copy of your Washington State Vehicle Certificate of Ownership. If a bank or institution is the legal owner, please send documentation showing you as the borrower and your mobile home as the property or collateral for the loan. Legal title of your home is required for program eligibility. A vehicle registration form is not proof of ownership. Please do not send vehicle registration forms with your application.

2012 Property Tax Levy Rate for Properties Located in Federal Way
Yes, if you conduct any gambling activity on the premises, you must first obtain approval through the Washington State Gambling Commission. In addition, any business authorized by the State Gambling Commission to operate social card games and/or expanded card room activities are required by the City to pay an additional $500 for a new or expanded license or during when a change in ownership occurs. The City license is renewed annually, with a fee of $100.
The City also requires a business to file and remit a monthly (or quarterly depending upon the annual amount of tax) gambling tax return to the City. To obtain quarterly filing status, an establishment must gross less than $10,000 in gambling revenues (based upon prior years history) and request a change with the Finance Department. The gambling tax return is due the last day of the month following activity. The sales tax rate for businesses operating in the City of Federal Way is 9.5% rate effective 10/1/11. All businesses operating in the City of Federal Way must use tax code #1732 when filing their combined excise tax return with the State. For a mitigation hearing the judge will either hear from you first if you appear in person or read your submission if you submitted your case by mail. The judge may then review the evidence offered by the city. There is no appeal for a mail-in or in-person mitigation hearing.
