3. What information is required to receive a report, and how much will it cost?

The public records request must have the following:

• Date of request


• Name, address and contact information for requestor


• Police report number or description of requested records

4. How do I obtain a criminal history background check?

The Washington State Patrol Identification and Criminal History Section has established WATCH as the official internet source providing criminal history conviction records for the State of Washington. WATCH Website

5. How do I report an abandoned vehicle on my street?

Please call the Police Traffic Unit at 253.835.6775 and leave complete information about the abandoned vehicle on the voicemail, including the vehicle make, model, color and license plate information. Traffic unit officers check the messages daily and will investigate all abandoned vehicles.
